Why
Holistic?
Put
simply, the term holistic means “to see as a whole”.
When
applied to ourselves, this means seeing
the mind, the physical body, our emotional self, and our
more subtle
energies as one whole entity. In therapeutic terms, it
means treating each person as an individual rather than
as a fragmented body, or a series of symptoms. It can be
described as highly person-centred. In bodywork such as
massage, it is guided by principles of sensitivity, awareness
and quality of touch.
The holistic
therapist will ensure that treatment is tailored exactly
towards your particular needs and is appropriate to your
personal physical and emotional journey.
All the
training and treatments at Meridian are guided by the principles
of this holistic approach.
