PROFESSIONAL
HOLISTIC MASSAGE TRAINING
Why
Holistic Massage?
Holistic means “to see as a whole” - the mind, physical body,
emotional self, as well as the more subtle energies. Holistic massage
is not just a routine or technique - it is a way of feeling and of being.
It gives us an opportunity to acknowledge someone’s difference
and uniqueness - and also their essential beauty - it teaches us about
trust and openness - working from the heart; it can be soothing and calming
or it can energise. Physically, it can release tight, tense muscles.
On a deeper level it can help us to find release from the past and present.
It can encourage us to rest and de-stress. It is often joyous, and above
all it helps us simply to ‘just be’. This is the art, science
and love of massage.
The Meridian Professional Training in Massage
At Meridian there is a positive attitude to learning combined with a
personal touch. Teaching is supportive; recognising students as individuals
as well as being members of the learning team to share and learn from
each other. The Diploma Course aims to create a balance between development
of our intuitive massage - with the structure of acquiring knowledge
about the physical body. It offers a unique path for your individual
creativity, personal development and growth - mentally, physically and
sp ritually. It is fun - and passionate about massage!
The short course programme is also growing, including post-grad courses
for the continuing professional development of qualified therapists -
